WASTE WOOD FACILITIES

DTE Vantage’s wood-fired power plants combust waste wood from surrounding areas to produce renewable power for sale to utilities under long-term power purchase agreements. The waste wood fuel is obtained from multiple sources depending on each facility’s geographic location. Sources include diverted material from landfills, agricultural waste and forest management waste

BIOGAS FACILITIES

DTE Vantage’s biogas group recovers methane gas from landfills and dairy farms and converts the gas to renewable energy products in the form of electricity or pipeline quality gas.  Its products are sold to local utilities, industrials, refineries and municipal customers
