DTE Vantage Renewable Energy projects deliver enough renewable energy to its customers to power the equivalent of more than 100,000 households with cleaner, sustainable energy – a significant carbon footprint reduction.
DAIRY TO RENEWABLE NATURAL GAS

DTE Vantage is an industry leader in developing and operating projects that convert dairy cow manure into clean, sustainable renewable natural gas (RNG), while offering compensation to its host farms. Manure stored in lagoons and spread to decompose on farmland releases methane directly into the atmosphere, contributing to climate change. Diverting that manure to anaerobic digesters first reduces a farm’s local greenhouse gas emissions through capturing the methane in raw biogas form and repurposing it as pipeline-quality RNG.

LANDFILL GAS TO RENEWABLE NATURAL GAS

DTE Vantage partners with landfill operators to assess a site’s potential for renewable natural gas (RNG) production and create a solution that best harnesses its resources. Methane created from the decomposition of waste can be captured and converted into RNG. We currently own and operate several landfill-based RNG projects in multiple states, with partners benefiting from our expertise in design, engineering, construction, and operation.

LANDFILL GAS TO POWER

DTE Vantage has unmatched experience in identifying a landfill site’s unique strengths and determining whether the extracted biogas is best suited to generate renewable electricity. A landfill gas to renewable electricity system typically taps otherwise unused landfill resources to generate incremental income for site owners and make a positive impact on climate change.

WASTE WOOD TO POWER

DTE Vantage is dedicated to solely using waste wood for beneficial use in the generation of renewable electricity, sold under long-term power purchase agreements. The waste wood fuel is obtained from multiple sources such as material diverted from landfills, agricultural waste, and forest management waste.
