    DTE Vantage Associates in Detroit, Michigan
The DTE Vantage Associate Program is a strategic investment in developing future leaders. We seek ambitious and energetic recent graduates from leading MBA programs with a focus in finance and strategy.

PROGRAM DETAILS

Working within multi-disciplinary teams, associates identify, evaluate and execute energy-related strategies and solutions. Associates rotate through three functional or business unit assignments, lasting approximately eight months each. Following the program, participants transition into full-time positions based on their interests and company needs.

REPRESENTATIVE ASSIGNMENTS

  • Identifying and screening potential acquisitions
  • Conducting valuation, due diligence, structuring, negotiation, and integration for an acquisition
  • Developing and negotiating the pricing and structure for projects
  • Evaluating investments in new renewable energy technologies
  • Developing and executing marketing plans to grow existing business lines
  • Nick LaPoulas (right) participated in the Associate Program from 2012-2014 after graduating from the University of Chicago
